Wilma Jean Hartwick

Wilma Jean (Womack) Hartwick, of Vilonia, passed away peacefully in Heritage Place Nursing and Rehab on August 3rd, 2018 at the age of 85.  Jean was born on February 14, 1933 in Guy, Arkansas to Buel Columbus and Ada Mae (Hooten) Womack. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of First Baptist Church in Vilonia. She enjoyed quilting, crafts, sewing, sitting on the porch watching the birds and selling barrels. Jean loved her family with an unconditional love, always supportive and care-giving. She loved to attend all of the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren's activities and events and was their biggest fan. Additionally, many people in the community have something in their possession that Jean made with her loving and hard-working hands.  She will be greatly missed, but lives on forever in our hearts. She had an entrepreneurial spirit, and was the owner of Jeannie's Corner, a local business in Vilonia for many years. She was also an assembly worker at Virco Manufacturing in Conway, and a school bus driver for 20 years for the Vilonia School District. Left to cherish her memory are her children; son, Donny Dean Hartwick of Vilonia; two daughters, Pamela Sue Shirley of Wooster; Connie Jean Lincecum of Burleson, Texas; daughter-in-law, Diana Hartwick of Vilonia, AR; one brother, Dallas Womack of Tucson, Arizona; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; as well as a host of extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Kenny Weldon Hartwick; and granddaughter, Kendall Kaye Hartwick. A Celebration of her life will be held August 5, 2018 at First Baptist Church 1206 Main Street Vilonia, AR 72173 at 3:00 PM, with Pastor John Hamby officiating. In leau of flowers the family requests donations to the ALS Association 1200 West Walnut, Suite 2309 Rogers, AR 72756.
