Wilma Jean (Downing) Covington, age 83, of Vilonia, passed away Friday, July 2nd, 2021, at home with her loving family.
She was born April 4th, 1938, in Beebe, Arkansas to Dave and Rena Downing. She enjoyed reading, sewing and doing needlework. She was a christian and a member of the Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Thomas Covington of Vilonia; three sons, Keith Covington (Dianne) of Conway; Cleve Covington (Tammie) of Mount Vernon; Perry Covington (Karen) of Abilene, Texas; one sister; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, as well as a host of extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Jeff Covington and several half brothers and sisters.
It was Mrs. Covington's request that she be cremated and everyone remember her in their own way privately.
