Vernell Bostic

Vernell Byrd Bostic, 81, of Vilonia went to be with Lord on Friday, July 24, 2020, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's disease. Nell was born April 15, 1939, to the late Herbert and Virgie Holland Byrd of Damascus, AR. On June 5, 1962, she married Ernest 'Dale" Bostic of Vilonia, AR.
She is survived by her husband Dale, daughters, Paula Stewart (Terry) of Greenbrier, AR; Dalia Jones of Conway, AR; Lisa Hunter (Ralph) of Vilonia, AR; son, Michael Bostic (Rhonda) of Enola, AR; nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren, two sisters, Rosie McBroom (Bill) of Vilonia, AR; Bonnie Magie of Perryville, AR; one brother, Gene Byrd (Sue) of Damascus, AR; as well as numerous nephews and nieces.
Nell was a homemaker and operated a child care center for several years. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She had a sweet, humble spirit and giving heart. She was greatly loved by her family and friends. She was member of Mars Hill Church of Christ.
Services will be 11:00 AM, Wednesday, July 29, 2020, at Mars Hill Church of Christ 20 County Line Road, Vilonia, AR 72173, with David Riley officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior also at the church. Interment will follow in Vilonia Cemetery. Active pallbearers are Austin Jones, Chad Hunter, Michael Hunter, Tanner Stewart, Colton Hunter and Anthony Hutchens. Honorary pallbearers are John Bostic and Tripp Starr.
DUE TO COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS: All attendees should maintain a social distance of at least 6 feet from other family groups, anyone over the age of 10 must be masked. Attendees should sit in the designated pews leaving every other row empty. DO NOT ATTEND THE VISITATION OR SERVICE IF: You have ran a fever within 2 days of the service, if you have had a cough, shortness of breath, or other symptoms typical of COVID-19, or if you have had known exposure to anyone with COVID-19 in the last 14 days. YOU MAY WISH TO REFRAIN FROM ATTENDING IF: You are 65 years of age or older, you have underlying health conditions such as high blood pressure, chronic lung disease, diabetes, severe obesity, asthma, or a weakened immunity.
