Robert Preston Taylor of Conway, passed away at his home surrounded by family on October 22, 2022 at the age of 52.
He was born on November 13, 1969 in Los Angeles, California to Thomas Wayne and Barbara (McKinzie) Taylor. He worked as a Foreman at Covington Construction. He enjoyed fishing, camping, boating, taking care of his dogs and most of all, loving his family and playing pranks on people. Robert was a avid Cowboys and Razorback Football fan. Robert could often be found grilling out for his family and friends. He also enjoyed family vacations at the cabin on the White River and going to the horse races.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of eleven years, Virginia Taylor; one daughter, Kalen Cox and husband, Derek of Conway; one son, Robert Taylor, Jr and wife, TJ of Conway; brother, James Taylor and wife, Cindy of Vilonia; Sister, Cindy Wind and husband, Larry of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; sister-in-laws, Karen Hobby Matthews of Hot Springs and Angela Michaud of Amity, Arkansas; two grandsons, two granddaughters as well as a host of extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Wayne and Barbara Taylor; one brother, Greg Taylor; Father-in-law, John P. Hobby; Mother-in-Law, L.C. Hobby and his two brother-in-laws, John L. Hobby and H. Reece Matthews.
The family will celebrate his life by hosting a visitation on Thursday, October 27, 2022 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm in Vilonia Funeral Home Chapel, 1134 Main Street, Vilonia, AR 72173 with cremation to follow.
