Reda Bailey, 82, of Vilonia died Sunday, January 17, 2021.
Reda was born on September4, 1938, in Sheridan Arkansas to the late Arthur and Lucille (Gartman) Shoptaw. She was a 1956 graduate of Sheridan High School and attended Henderson State Teachers College in Arkadelphia. She married Donald E. Bailey on January 22, 1959, and spent most of her married life living in Texas.
Reda is survived by her husband of 62 years, Don Bailey, of Vilonia; daughters, Kristi Simmmons (Gene) of Vilonia and Carol Bailey of Sherman Texas. She is also survived by a brother, Bob Shoptaw (Lillie) of Sheridan, and her grandchildren: Matthew Simmons of Vilonia, Caitlyn Prewitt (Billy) of Vilonia, and Kimberly Simmons of Ocala, FL.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her son, Michael Bailey.
There will be no funeral Service and after cremation, her ashes will be scattered according to her wishes.
