Penny Ann Carr

Penny Ann Carr, of Vilonia passed away peacefully at home after a 5 year battle with cancer on April 26, 2019 at the age of 64. Penny was born on February 9, 1955 in Eugene, Oregon to Paul and Janice Brunson. 
Penny leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 30 years, Jack Carr; children, Alanna DeLaGarza  (David); Zane Canterbury (Melissa), Kenneth Canterbury (Misty), Christina Dye (David) and Kevin Canterbury (Elizabeth); Sister, Bobbye Jo Brunson (Oleg)?; 26 grandchildren, Kayla, Austen, Eli, Joseph, Isabella, Benny, Elise, John Paul, Eva, Drew, Taylor, Kendall, Katelyn, Kreighan, Kenny Paul, Lance, Alex, Lily, David Paul, Addison, Kollan, Konner, Alexis, Emma, Alyssa and Austin,  as well as a host of extended family and friends.  She is preceded in death by her father, Paul Brunson; Mother, Janice Brunson; brothers, James and Kenneth Brunson. Penny loved spending time with her family and being “Granny” to her much loved? ? grandkids.  She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, bowling, sewing, cooking, canning, antique restoration and too many other things to mention.  She lived her life for others and during her health struggles in the last five years, continued to live her life to the fullest.  She was loved and admired by everyone who knew her.  She will be missed by all and now will watch over us from her well-earned place in heaven. The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday May 4, 2019, from 1:00 - 6:00 PM at the Vilonia Funeral Home Chapel 1134 Main Street Vilonia, AR 72173.  Arrangements are under the care and direction of Vilonia Funeral Home & Cremation.
