Patricia Ann Armstrong

Patricia "Pat" Ann Lyons Armstrong, of Vilonia, went to be with the Lord at Conway Regional Health on July 10, 2020, at the age of 82.

She was born on August 11, 1937, in Little Rock, Arkansas to Thomas Thurman and Lydia Ellen (Clouette) Lyons. She was a Christian and a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Conway, where she served many years as an organist, choir member, and Sunday School teacher. She looked for every opportunity to serve where needed in the church. Pat operated an at-home child care business, worked many years for the Vilonia School District in the cafeteria, and retired from Conway Human Development Center as a house supervisor.

She loved to sew and spend time in her garden. Her greatest accomplishment was caring for her children and grandchildren and just being a caretaker in general.
She leaves to cherish her memories, three sons, Jim Armstrong (Lisa) of North Little Rock; Mark Armstrong of Vilonia; Paul Armstrong (Jan) of Vilonia; one daughter, Mary Green (Ray) of Mayflower; one brother, Joe Lyons of Midway, Arkansas; eight grandchildren, Sharea, Kerina, Nicole, Diana, Cathy, Jamie, Caroline, and Victoria; fifteen great-grandchildren, as well as a host of extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James "Buddy" Armstrong; her grandson, Brian Green; sister, Bonnie Jean Tate.

Her life will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Wednesday, July 15th, 2020, at Friendship Baptist Church 767 Rocky Point Road, Conway, Arkansas 72032 with Brother Will Russell officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior also at the church. Burial will follow at Vilonia Cemetery.

Due To COVID-19, health department guidelines will be strictly followed. All attendees should maintain a social distance of at least 6 feet from other family groups, anyone over the age of 10 must be masked. Attendees should sit in the pews marked with odd numbers.
