Linda Faye Sanders

Linda Faye Watkins Sanders, of Carlisle, Arkansas, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on March 8, 2018.  Linda was born in Stuttgart, Arkansas, on July 3, 1952, to William and Ruby Watkins, also of Stuttgart. She was preceded in death by both parents; sister, Ronda Smith; and brother, Phillip Watkins.  Linda is survived by her husband of 49 years, USMC Master Gunnery Sergeant (Ret) Carroll Sanders; sons Jim (Fawnita) Sanders of Tijeras, New Mexico, and David (Stephanie) Sanders of DeValls Bluff, Arkansas; grandchildren Christopher Hayes, Nathaniel (Alison) Sanders, Crystal (Eric) Valdez, Adam Valdez, and Tyler, Drew and Tessa Sanders; great grandson, Luca Sanders; and grandchildren in love Lynn, Raegan and Alyssa Mills, as well as many others.   While travelling the United States as a military wife, Linda met many lifelong friends  She enjoyed crafting with these friends and making her family gifts with love. She also spent hours volunteering for Red Cross and the Ladies Auxiliary.  Linda’s family meant the world to her and she devoted a lot of time to them. Nannie, as she was referred to by many, was often found at football, baseball and softball games cheering on her grandkids.   Visitation will be Sunday, March 11, 2018, at Stuttgart Holiness Church, 1002 South Prairie, Stuttgart, Arkansas, 72160, from 1:00-3:00 pm.  Funeral services will be held immediately following visitation. Bro. Lloyd Allen Duvall will be officiating. Interment will be at Carlisle Cemetery after the funeral.   Please send flowers to the church.
