Johnnie Alvin McCraw

Johnnie Alvin McCraw, Jr, of Grady, passed away unexpectedly on September 07, 2020, in Grady, Arkansas at the age of 86.

Johnnie was born on June 18, 1934, in Little Rock, Arkansas to Johnnie Alvin and Arcie (Haynie) McCraw. He served in the United States Air Force and Air National Guard during the Korean war. He worked 19 years at Afco Steel as a certified welder until he and his wife started The Auction House in North Little Rock, and later opened PJ and Faith Furniture on Washington Avenue. He remained at PJ Furniture until he moved to Grady where he opened Cash Furniture. He faithfully operated Cash Furniture in Grady until the time of his death.

He is survived by three sons, Johnny McCraw, III; Rickey McCraw, I; James McCraw, Sr.; one daughter, Angela Montgomery; four sisters, Anna Marie Bimbleby; Louise Howell; Rosalie Singleton; Edna Mae Kelley; one brother, William McCraw; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as a host of extended family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, James Walter McCraw; two sisters, Mary Ellen Blood and Frances Lucille Cregger.

Due to COVID-19, funeral services will be private. Burial will be at Edgewood Memorial Park in North Little Rock.

YOU MAY WISH TO REFRAIN FROM ATTENDING IF: You are 65 years of age or older, you have underlying health conditions such as high blood pressure, chronic lung disease, diabetes, severe obesity, asthma, or a weakened immunity.
