John Harland Sr., age 76, of Quitman, passed away Saturday, August 21st, 2021, at Little Rock, Arkansas.
He was born May 11th, 1945, in South Bend, Indiana, to Wilson and Marie Harland. John was retired and enjoyed fishing and riding motorcycles. John loved his church, First Baptist of Quitman, and tried to be involved in everything going on there.
John is survived by his son, John "Mike" Harland Jr. of Rosebud, Arkansas; Lisa (Donnie) Jones of Columbus, Georgia; Adopted children, Craig (Heather) Harland of Davenport, Iowa; Christina (Steve) Kramer of Hutchinson, Kansas; and April Harland of Hutchinson, Kansas. He also leaves 15 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and wife Beth.
There will be a memorial service at 1:00 PM, on September 11, 2021, at First Baptist Church, 5899 Heber Springs Road West, Quitman, AR 72131.
