Jesse Walter Roach

Jesse Walter Roach, known to many as "Di", age 83, of Corning, formerly of Cabot, went to be with Lord on Wednesday, June 1st, 2022, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

He was born April 5, 1939, in Little Rock, Arkansas to John and Katie Roach. He was a christian in the Baptist faith and enjoyed playing the guitar and singing. He also liked cars, fishing, hunting and entertaining children.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 64 years, Peggy Roach of Corning, Arkansas; one daughter, Lana Rudd of Corning; four grandchildren, Jessica Highfill, Jeffrey Rudd, Nicholas Rudd, Kristy Newell; thirteen great-grandchildren, a ver special daughter-in-law, Betty Potter, as well as a host of extended family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Katie Roach; one son, Daryl Roach, one grandchild, one great-grandchild, two great-great grandchild, nine brothers and three sisters.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday, June 6th, 2022, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Vilonia Funeral Home Chapel, 1134 Main Street, Vilonia, Arkansas 72173. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, June 7th, 2022, at 1:00 pm in Mountain Springs Baptist Church, 15669 AR-5, Cabot, Arkansas 72023. Burial will follow at Mountain Springs Cemetery in Cabot, Arkansas.

Pallbearers for the service are Jeffery Rudd, Jordan Newell, Landon Erwin, Wu Xiao, Gerald Tygart, Herbie Highfill, Jr; Krystal Martin and Dale Willingham. The great-grandchildren will serve as honorary pallbearers.
