Jerry Ann Rice

Jerry Ann (Cox) Rice, 78, of Williford, Arkansas went home to be with her Lord on May 5, 2024. She was born May 13, 1945, in Enola, AR., to the late Brady and Ethel Cox. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Brady Cox, Jr., Jerrell Cox, Marvelle Adkisson, Hazel Fowler, Francis Brewer, Farrell Cox, Sonny Dawes and Norma Dawes.

She was a graduate (1963) of Greenbrier High School. She worked for Baldwin Piano, Capraco, and Hiram Walkers. She also owned and operated Rice's Home Health Care and The Dew Bird Tea Room. She was even at one time a pig farmer. 

She enjoyed attending church, auctions, yard sales, and amusement parks. She also enjoyed playing all kinds of games (she would welcome all challengers at Risk) and crossword puzzles. She was an avid reader and very active in church activities.

She is survived by her loving husband Charles Rice, Sr., her children Elizabeth Ann Hayter, Charles Aubrey Rice, Jr. (Sarah), Carey Wayne Rice (Jessie), Karen 'Chris'tine Rice (Shelly), Donna Nadine Miller (Scott), Roana Marie Bacon (Derrick), 21 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 9, 2024, at Vilonia Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment following at Marcus Hill Cemetery in Enola, Arkansas.
