Jane Gregory Sherer

Jane Gregory Sherer of Vilonia, Arkansas passed away June 5, 2023.  She was born April 24, 1945, in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Alva Bryan Bond Jr. and Mary Ruby Gregory, she is preceded in death by her parents, her late husband Dickie Joe Sherer.

She is survived by her daughter Laura Elise Rodela, and a granddaughter Elise Jane Valsesques and 3 Great Grandsons, Richard, Raymond, and Alieus of Austin, Texas; and her good friends Jonathan Pryon, Peggy Day, and Rosemary Gilbert. She also leaves behind her beloved dog, Bosley. Jane loved animals, they gave her happiness and companionship, her other joy was helping in the local school district and spending time with the students. Anyone who knew Jane knew every Friday night, she looked forward to eating catfish for dinner. She will be missed by many.

A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 12, 2023 at Oak Bowery Church in Conway, Arkansas with interment to follow at Oak Bowery Cemetery. Pastor Matt Corkan will officiate the service.
