James Michael Hutchins

James Michael Hutchins, age 71, of Vilonia, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, February 1st, 2022.
He was born March 8th, 1950, in Little Rock, to Cedric and Cora Hutchins. He was a christian in the Methodist faith, baptized on March 17, 1942, and a member of Vilonia United Methodist Church. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam and Korea era. He received a Purple Heart and Combat Infantry Badge. He was an Assistant Librarian at Ft. Benning, Georgia. He enjoyed reading the Bible. Jimmy's goal in life was to be right with God and to have an attitude of gratitude toward other people.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his friends at Gunters Veterans Home in Vilonia, and church family at Vilonia First United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Timothy Dana Hutchins.
A graveside memorial will be held Thursday, February 17th, 2022 at 10:00 AM in Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, 1501 West Maryland Avenue, North Little Rock, AR 72120, with Mica Gunter and Dr. Barbara Wilmes officiating.
