Ida Maryellen Rowlett

Maryellen (Gist) Rowlett, age 83, of Vilonia, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 23rd, 2022, at her home surrounded by family.
She was born April 9th, 1938, in Manilla, Arkansas to Robert and Rosie Gist. She was a Christian in the Baptist faith and a member of Beryl Baptist Church in Vilonia. She enjoyed fishing, shopping, cooking and spending time with her family. She especially enjoyed singing in church with her husband, D.C.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband of 52 years, Dewitt "D.C." Rowlett of Vilonia; one son, Rick Hall and wife, Dianne of Vilonia; two daughters, Carmella Gibbs and husband, Joe of Conway; Suzanne Rowlett of California; three brothers, Virgil Gist and wife, Marcella of North Little Rock; Danny Haner and wife, Vanita of Searcy; Charles Gist and wife, Karen of Melbourne, Arkansas; one sister, Joann King and husband, Wayne of Vilonia; thirteen grandchildren, Josh Hall and wife, Leah; Lindsey Williams; Zac Cearley and wife, Dallas; James Hall; Jenifer Khan and husband, Imran; Rimbey Wicker and husband, Jarrod; Tanner Rogers and wife, Patience; Daisy Hall; Jordan Watson and wife, Savannah; 9 great-grandchildren, Rylin; Mason; Wyatt; Paisley; Forest; Andru', Sadie; Jordan; and Julie; numerous nieces, nephews and friends..
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Rosie Gist; step-father, Mertie Thomas Haner; two brothers, Lewis Gist and Jerry Haner; her sister-in-law, Pat Haner, and one son, Donnie Charles Hall.
The family will receive friends for visitition on Monday, February 28th, 2022, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at The Summit Church, 1100 US-64 E, Vilonia, Arkansas 72173. Funeral Services will follow the visitation at 11:00 am also at The Summit Church with Brother Wade Lentz officiating. Burial will be in Beryl Cemetery.
Pallbearers for the service are James Hall, Joe Gibbs, Josh Hall, Zac Cearley, Tanner Rogers and Imran Khan.
