Charles Lenard Patrom

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Charles Patrom, a beloved husband, father, friend, and a cornerstone of our community. Charles peacefully departed this life on December 16th, 2023.

Born on July 9th, 1943, in El Paso, Arkansas, Charles was the son of Canada "P-Joe" Patrom and Edith Patrom. From the very beginning, his vibrant spirit and zest for life set the stage for a remarkable journey.

As a dedicated entrepreneur, Charles approached his work with diligence and persistence, earning the respect and admiration of colleagues far and wide. His love for entertainment and hospitality shone through in his business, Charlie's Arcade, where he forged strong connections and helped many people create everlasting memories.

Outside the demands of daily life, Charles found solace and joy in spending time with his family, tending to his lawn and gods creatures and spoiling his dog Bernie. Whether in front of a slot machine or dominating a game of dominoes, his enthusiasm and banter were always infectious.

Charles is survived by his siblings Maynard "Chip" Patrom, Sharon Waddle, Rebecca Payne, and Faye Kimbrough; his children, Tony Patrom (Gina Patrom),Randy Patrom (Crystal Patrom),Bryan Patrom (Drenda “Sissy” Patrom),and Charolette Taylor (Jesse Taylor);his grandchildren Chelsey Blackwood (Colten Blackwood), Kaylee McCoy (Devin McCoy), Daphnee Jones (Ethan Jones), Tristen Rucker (Drew Rucker), Blake Patrom, Charli Brittain, and Ashlyn Patrom; and his great-grandchildren, Bennet Blackwood, Lofton McCoy, Shiloh Blackwood, Nolan Blackwood, and Grant Rucker. Additionally, a host of relatives and friends will forever hold the memory of  happiness he brought with his uplifting laughter and the mischief twinkling in his spirited smile.

A visitation will be held at Vilonia Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Grissard Cemetery in El Paso, Arkansas.
