Carolyn Alice Tackett

Carolyn Alice Tackett, of Vilonia, AR passed away peacefully at Salem Place Nursing Home and Rehab on September 01, 2018 at the age of 82. Alice was born on January 13, 1936 in Huntington, West Virginia to Everett L. and Ollie (Clark) Tackett.  She was of the Baptist Faith and member at First Baptist Church in Vilonia, and Eastside Baptist Church in Conway. She enjoyed reading her bible, Our Daily Bread, and Billy Graham. She also enjoyed spending time at the Vilonia Senior Citizens Center. She leaves to cherish her memory, her twin brother, Allen Carroll Tackett (Judy) of Valrico, Florida; two neices, Shari Messinger (Steve) of West Virginia; Bonnie Miller (Lucius) of Georgia; four nephews, Donald Tackett (Bernice) of Vilonia, AR; Doug Tackett of Kentucky; Mark Tackett of West Virginia; Lewis Hoats of Georgia.
She is preceded in death by three sisters, Zelma Hoats, Avelea Tackett, Bea Crum. The family will host a Celebration of Life Ceremony at First Baptist Church in Vilonia, AR on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at 2:00 PM with Pastor John Hamby officiating. In lieu of flowers the family requests a donation to First Baptist Church in Vilonia, AR.
