Buck Christian Quick

Buck Christian Quick, age 45, of Conway, passed away June 25th, 2021. Buck was born August 24, 1975, in North Little Rock, Arkansas. He was a son to Tommy and Lynda (Tyler) Quick. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Tom and Frances Quick; maternal grandparents, J.W. and Pat Tyler; cousin, Allyson Sawrie.

Left to cherish his beloved memories are his wife, Lisa Quick; son, Brandon Quick; son, Mason Quick (Bailey); daughter, Sydney Scarborough; son, Clint Copeland; daughter, Hannah Motes (Jeremy). Grandchildren, Blakely Quick and Delaney, Maddox, and Lexi Motes. His parents; sister, Melissa McCrary (Jean); sister, Jennifer Parr (Mary Andres). He is also survived by his aunts: Sandy Carpenter (Gib), Marilyn Scott (Jeff), CJ Newton (Roland) and uncles: Rickey Quick (Ann), Jim Quick (Connie) nieces and nephews: Alexis Bilbruck (Destin), Vivian Parr, Whitney McCrary, Tyler Louden (Claudia), John McCrary (Shelby), Jackson Parr (Carlee) and friends galore.

Buck was a devoted son, husband, father, pawpaw, and friend. He would do anything for anyone. He will be remembered best by his ability to make others laugh, his huge smile and baby blue eyes.

He graduated in 1994 from North Little Rock High School. He was a Sargeant Field Rider at Arkansas Department of Corrections, and then became a lieutenant and transferred to the Arkansas State Police headquarters with ADC. He was currently employed as a Maintenance Supervisor at the Arkansas Governor's Mansion.

He was of the Pentecostal faith and was baptized in Jesus name and received the precious gift of the Holy Ghost at First Pentecostal Church of North Little Rock. Buck had a larger-than-life heart and loved everyone. He was a fishing extraordinaire challenged only by his hunting abilities. He thoroughly enjoyed teaching anyone his avid sportsman skills that he acquired from his father, especially his boys and grandson. Buck never met a stranger and he was loved by everyone.

The family will receive friends for visitation at First Pentecostal Church of North Little Rock, 1401 Calvary Road, North Little Rock, AR. 72116. from 1:00-3:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 1st, 2021, with a celebration of life service following at 3:00 p.m. also at the church, officiated by Rev. Jeremy Motes.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Buck Quick Memorial Fund at First Security Bank.
