Betty Jo Stone, of Conway, passed away in Conway Regional Hospital on March 09, 2020 at the age of 72.
Betty was born on December 7, 1947 in Tarrant, Texas to Edmund Joseph and Helen Marie (Luskie) Fojtik. She was a Christian in the Baptist Faith. She worked for fourteen years at the Salvation Army in Conway until her retirement. She was a people person who loved meeting new people, she loved her grandchildren, and was a radical cowboys fan.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her sister and best friend, Jan Sherrill of Pensacola, Florida; two sons, Damien Stone (Cathy) of Conway; Jeremiah Stone (Jessica) of Conway; three daughters, Edlena Jo Smith (Dale) of Morrilton, Arkansas; Rachel Ellison (Ronnie) of Vilonia; Ashley Hood (Shawn) of Tigard Oregon; fourteen grandchildren as well as a host of extended family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Gary Dwyane Stone, her sister, Patricia Ann Corbett.
The family will host a memorial service on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Salvation Army Church 950 Carson Cove, Suite 106 Conway, Arkansas 72034.
