Betty Jean (Nixon) Bradley, of Sherwood, passed away in Sherwood Nursing and Rehab on September 16, 2019. Betty was born on April 7, 1938 in Athens, Alabama to Henry and Lula Mae Nixon. She graduated from Nettleton High School in Jonesboro, AR. in 1956; She married the love of her life, Don Bradley on April 13, 1957. She worked until 2011 as a Jewelry Sales Person at Wal-Mart. She was a Christian and Member of Lakewood United Methodist Church in North Little Rock. She was proud of the fact that she had served on the editorial staff of the Nettleton High School Newspaper. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 62 years, Don Bradley of the home; two sons, Bern Bradley of Jacksonville; Roy Bradley (Sandy) of North Little Rock; one daughter, Pam Hoyt (Butch) of Gainsville, MO.; brother, Harvey Nixon (Pat) of Athens, Alabama; one grandchild, Lauren Bradley of North Little Rock. She is preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Robert Nixon.
The family will host a memorial service on Friday, September 20, 2019 at Lakewood United Methodist Church at 1:00 PM with Reverend Luke Conway officiating.
