James "Jim" Robert Gallagher

James Robert Gallagher, Jr., of Vilonia, went to be with the Lord on April 03, 2020, at the age of 64.

Jim was born on July 28, 1955 in Staten Island, New York to James Robert Gallagher and Aileen Jean Cichowski. He earned his bachelor degree in General Studies at Mary Hardin Baylor University in 1993. He retired from the United States Army where he received the Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal W/1 Oak Leaf Cluster, Good Conduct Medal (5th Award), National Defense Service Medal, NCO Professional Development Ribbon Numeral 2, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Ribbon Numeral 2. He also retired from the United States Postal Service.

He was a member of the Belton Baptist Church in Belton, Texas. He was an avid reader, and collector of books and movies. He particularly enjoyed John Wayne movies and Science Fiction Movies. His favorite movie was the Sound of Music.

He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Donna Lynn Gallagher of Vilonia; daughter, Rebecca Morgan (Christopher) of Troy, Texas; four grandchildren, Trinity Eden Mainer, Dominic Cole Mainer, Logan Morgan, and James Kellan Zbranek.

He is preceded in death by his father.

In light of current health events, services will be private. Burial will be at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
